Some of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I´ve never had conversations and local knowledge shared with me like this in any other hostel. They were brilliant. The hostel could do with a decent clean on things that aren´t done daily, but all surfaces are wiped and generally ok. Lockers under the bed and location is between the bus terminal and town. So not too far from either. Hostel could do with some additional tourist information such as maps, restaurants and boat information. A huge thank you to the staff who made my time in Montevideo amazing.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the city and surrounding country. As well they were all fluent in English to include the cleaning staff.

Liked the hostel, big very light rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast, the only negative thing was that our room was not cleaned at all when we arrived. Old bedsheets etc..
