A bit far from rail station, but it provides quite a good private room. I love it very much

It was very difficult for me to find the location of Hostel at first arrival of Edinburgh.Once I knew it, it was very nice location to go to Royal Mile-it has many attractions,pubs,shops and so on. The room was clean,funitured well. Though I was afraid of husle-and-bustle noises during the Fringe,I did enjoyed the atmosphere of festivals and slept well.

Staff friendly and helpful. Very convenient for most Fringe venues, but rooms facing the street can be noisy at night, with drunken clubbers emerging at 3 am. Doors are hard to close without banging. The shower fitting in my appartment was broken and I get the feeling that the place my soon be in need of refurbishment

the hostel is difficult to locate from map but the Staff were extremely helpful and after we rang to ask location of the hostel they came out of the hostel to our car to show us where the hostel was and where to park the car

Creaking floors, squeaking bed with an end-of-it's-lifetime mattress, bare walls and slight damp. But great central location!!

the room was lovely and clean had no problems checking staff were friendly, very polite and helpful enjoyed our stay even though just for the night
