| Our first night was very noisy, we were in a room near the breakfast area, the second night we changed rooms, and it was much quieter and nicer upstairs! | ||

| Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Kitchens were awesome. Rooms were very comfortable. HI Hostels are the way to do it! | ||

| One fabulous service they offer is to make bookings for tours and provide maps and tourist information pamphlets. This was invaluable and, although it is probably a reflection of how well the tourism industry is organised in Iceland, it is a model that other hostels may want to emulate. It could result in guests staying longer at the hostel. The communal kitchen was light and warm. The hostel is a few kilometres from the town centre but the advantage of this is the quiet location. The shuttle bus does pick ups/drop offs from/to the airport - another handy service the hostel has initiated. | ||

| Hostel should check front door, many time door was not lock properly. Should have a system (door hinge) that close by it self. Men shower drain should have a maintenance. When we take a shower water accumulate. Hostel could have an ATM inside the location. (Best value) | ||

| We were satisfied with the room, the nice bath and the comfortable surroundings - and the location is good near city.
The breakfast could be a little better - for example with eggs and more fruit. I´m just comparing with the others HI hostels, we visited.
But thank you for the a very high standard your hostel have!
