we booked for 2 dorms, but the staff said the guest extend the stay and they cannot provided the dorms for us. the staff finally provide a single bed for us (2 men). it is quite unhappy for the arrangement, how can two men sleep in a single bed! also the hostel is hard to find if you print out their map. the bed is uncomfortable, which is too hard! btw the staff is willing to answer my question

After getting there they wouldn't except my Youth Hostel card and made be pay full price up front in RMB, so make sure you bring enough money to pay for your whole stay. Once I finally got to the room which I was paying 70RMB a night for I learn that it is not a four person room, but a four bunk-bed room with eight people inside. That wouldn't of been so bad if not for the smell. It smelled like a freshly used toilet all the time. Besides the smell there was mold all over the walls and ceiling. Besides the mold they thankfully had an air-conditioner in the room, the only problem is that it leaked. That leaking water fell fight down onto the power socket which was a disaster waiting to happen. If that is not all while I was there the power to the whole line of rooms went out, so they had to call in a crew and they dug out the power lines and had to fix them. Overall I found better places with nicer locations and better prices.

Excellent hostel, very good location - a bit off the beaten path, but still close to transit and such. No English speakers on site though - make sure you speak at least middling Mandarin if you plan to stay here.
