| Absolutely brilliant! Me middle aged, I stayed in a room but my son (20) and his friend were in a dorm: perfect. Enjoyed breakfast, used laundry facilities together, read on the excavations, strolled on to the bridge and the Opera house. They boys found this their best hostel on a three months previous journey from Iceland through Asia.

| This hostel is positioned in one of the prime spots in Sydney, on the Rocks where the first fleet settled. It is very close to the Sydney Harbour bridge and the Opera House is within walking distance. The facilities are excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. They cater for all ages including families. I thought it was better than staying in a hotel because the facilities were so good eg laundry room, 4 commercial kitchen areas, rooftop terrace, lounge area. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sydney now I have discovered The YHA on The Rocks. | ||

| Location good less than 10 mins walk to Circular Quay. The en suite dorm rooms were very good. Didn't find the reception staff to be particularly friendly or helpful with travel advice and information. | ||

| One of the best hostels that I have eve stayed in. The view of the harbor and the Sydney Opera House was a Million dollar view. We plan on going back one day for sure!! | ||
