To whet your appetite, here is a taste of the tours on offer at Mendoza-San Rafael – Tierrasoles Hostel. Full information at the hostel:
- Atuel Canyon Tour: the Atuel Canyon Circuit is one of the most important in the area, and this trip takes you to key places like Cuesta de los Terneros, El Nihuil, Atuel Canyon. And when you reach Valle Grande, you can try adventure activities such as rafting or horse riding.
- Atuel Canyon: cross the Los Nihuiles hydro-electric facilities to reach the north of the canyon and imposing multi-coloured eroded rock structures. These feature figures such as ‘The Wax Museum’, ‘Rivadavias’s Chair’, ‘Los Viejos’, ‘The hanging gardens’.
- Los Reyunos Tour: this covers the dams and docks that regulate the Diamante River amid an irregular and steep landscape. The tour includes a visit to a traditional winery.
