Set on the Mediterranean coast 5km south of the centre of Marseille, Bonneveine hostel is just a short walk to the beach and close to the beautiful and legendary ‘Calanques’ creeks of Marseille. Enjoy the quiet of this residential area and take in the beautiful coastal surroundings and fresh sea air.
On offer is comfortable accommodation in one of our 2-6 bedded rooms and use of facilities including bar, large common area, garden, laundry, games room, TV room and internet access. Breakfast is also included in the price so you can get a good start to your day.

| The place needs some tender loving care in terms of fixing light fixtures in the rooms. The common spaces however are very pleasant, and the atmosphere good. | ||

| Some people complains about the location, but for me it was perfect, I could easily take the bus to go and visit the «calanques». Which is in my own opinion the best thing to see around Marseille. | ||

| Très belle auberge bien située pour la proximité de la plage et des stations d'autobus. Les salles de bains étaient propres, par contre les lumières s'éteignaient toujours dans la salle de bain durant qu'on prenait notre douche. Les repas qui étaient offerts étaient délicieux et très peu dispendieux (à partir de 4 euros), avec des portions généreuses! Nous avions dans la chambre un très grand casier que nous pouvions barrer avec nos propres cadenas et une très grande tablette.
Les points un peu plus négatifs: WIFI dans nos deux premières journées à l'auberge était défectueux, mais au moins était gratuit!
Une troupe d'enfants étaient hébergés au même endroit que nous et c'était très très bruyant jusqu'à très tard le soir, les murs n'étaient pas vraiment insonorisés...
Et pas de lumière à chaque lit. | ||

| I wished they had a kitchen, but they do have microwave and fridge, big hostel it's clean and close to th beach , staff speaks good English and breakfast is included , I know it's stupid but I wish they'd cut the bread and not just tear it Into chunks and toss it in the bin for breakfast. Orange juice tasted like compost , but clean and fine stay all around | ||

| Would not recommend. The linens were disgusting. The place smelled, was dirty and the internet only worked in a very small area. The staff was friendly, but had different rules regarding checking out early. The communal bathrooms were also not the best. | ||

| Its only good if you want to go to the beach because its to fare from the city center. Its over price a pit. But the staff are very friendly and very good. | ||
