Zielow is located on Lake Müritz close to the National Park with its many rare species.
Zielow is also a great destination for water sports. Lake Müritz, the largest lake entirely on German territory, is ideal for sailing, surfing, canoeing, rowing, paddling, pedalo etc.
The youth hostel offers countless opportunities too.

| Opening times (daily/weekly): | Daily by phone 08.00-21.00 hrs. Reception 08.00-12.00 & 13.00-18.00 hrs. The main entrance is open 08.00-22.00 hrs. The youth hostel is closed 1 November – 31 March. During this time availability by phone is limited. |

| Bus: | A19 Berlin-Rostock until exit Röbel, then B198 direction Neustrelitz. At third exit “Röbel/Sietow” turn left, after 800m turn right, approx. 3km behind Solzow turn right towards Zielow. |

| Location: | 15 min wlak from town centre |
| Rail: | Waren train station – from there bus 012 to Röbel, then take bus 046 (direction Rechlin) to “Vipperow“ bus stop, from there 3km walk following signs to the hostel.
