Our Youth Hostel is located on mid-hill. There is no din-and-bustle around YH, so you will spend a great relaxing time in calm and fresh air. You can see an amazing night view of Yufuin city in the dining hall. Outside starshine will be also welcoming you. Of course we have a hot spring bath, and you can take it 24 hours!! We are looking forward to having you!!

This building is of an old Japanese design and here we have a hot spring which you can use. The water contains many minerals which will make your skin very smooth. The hot spring is available for your use 24 hours a day! Also, all of the water at my Youth Hostel tastes very good because it comes from a well. Please come and stay with us to experience the relaxation and beauty of Yufuin!

| This was a fantastic place to stay. Although a bit of a walk up the hill from the main town, the house has a great view of the valley and town below and is a comfortable base while in Yufuin. We stayed in the Japanese-style rooms with futons but often found ourselves hanging out in the cozy common room downstairs. Everyone we met there was very friendly, and the breakfast each morning was delicious- one night the whole house was filled with the smell of freshly baked bread prepared for the next day. The proprietors, a couple, were very sweet, and were very helpful in recommending things to do while in town. On top of that, they had the 3 most adorable kids! I definitely would recommend staying here and wouldn't hesitate to go back if I found myself in Yufuin again. | ||

| This hostel was simply amazing. The beauty of the facility was surpassed by the service and graciousness of the owners. From fabulous meals to a goodbye song, it was simply wonderful. I recommend Country Road Hostel very highly! This was the best hostel I have stayed at in any country! | ||

| My 5 days in Yufuin were the nicest days in my 2 months journey in Japan. The landscapes are beautiful, the dinner at the youth hostel were so good and the staff and owner were very nice and made games and sightseeing around the place. And they have 2 Japanese hot baths!!! Almost Heaven or heaven on earth :) | ||
