| One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, and I have stayed at a lot of them. The staff was super helpful and the food and drink were great to have right there in the lobby as the hostel is a bit far from the city center. Thanks for everyone's help and great service! | ||

| t5ge york hostel is a lovely building, I like the information given about the history of the house. Could you please indicate, though, that one has to go to reception to get things from the bar? It is confusing for newcomers when the bar looks closed, i.e. unattended, when really the staff are between bar and reception. | ||

| Your bar was stocked with some lovely real ales. Well done and let other hostels follow your example. | ||

| More care needs to be given when making bookings for "groups" of people. We had very little sleep one night due to a party of women arriving back after a night out on the town. The talking, laughing and door banging lasted until 5am. Staff being sorry the next morning isn't enough. Because the window only opens a tiny bit, the room was quite hot too. Otherwise it was fine. | ||

| Location is fair, since i had to take bus to the hostel. However, bus service, no.2 from the city centre, are very frequent. Other than this, staff are friendly and helpful!
York is a nice place, worth going! | ||
