Hostel Details

The six huge churches are a sure sign that there is a UNESCO world heritage site nearby. Only 2 km away the narrow streets and the market square are bursting with monuments. The dominating style is Brick Gothic.

But Wismar is a modern city too: you’ll find numerous modern art galleries, a Zoo, play and sports areas. The Mecklenburg Heathland is ideal for cycling and the island of Poel offers clean beaches and unspoilt nature. Schwerin, the state capital, is definitely worth a visit too.

Directions

Bus:	From Wismar railway station busses B-D, C, E and G every 20 min to “Philipp-Müller-Straße/Krankenhaus” bus stop, from there 100 m walkt to the hostel.
Parking:	A20 to exit Wismar-Mitte, continue towards town centre, the follow sign to the youth hostel (Jugendherberge). Parking for 15 cars and 2 busses available.
Rail:	From Bad Kleinen to Wismar railway station, from there busses B-D, C, E and G every 20 min to “Philipp-Müller-Straße/Krankenhaus” bus stop, from there walk back 100 m to the hostel.
