Kynnefjäll is a dramatic, wild region that might give the impression of being somewhere on the Norrland taiga rather than the coastal area of Bohuslän. There is wilderness around the corner where little adventures become great experiences.
This is a place where north and south appear to meet in a unique and peculiar way. The area is mainly wilderness, but at the same time Bohuslän is easily accessible as well as salty dips in the ocean.
This secluded wilderness camp is close to the great outdoors and resembles a small mountain camp more than a traditional hostel. The facility consists of cabins, grill houses, a wood fired sauna and a cozy winter ‘kåta’ (Sami tent).
With its proximity to the coastal region of Bohuslän and Dalsland, Wauglen is the perfect base camp for excursions and experiences in the whole region, and if you find yourself tired of the great outdoors, the attractions of Grebbestad are only 30 minutes away.
