Situated a 15-minute walk from the city centre and 10 minutes from the new "Museumsquartier", the hostel offers easy access to sightseeing and shopping. Rooms have 4-6 beds.

Our modern hostel, situated right in the centre of Vienna close to the “Museumsquartier” and Spittelberg, offers all the mod cons.

Many attractions and shops are just a short walk away and underground stations and bus stops are very close.

Accommodation is in rooms with 2-6 beds (bunks) with en suite shower (some with WC). You can feel totally safe with us: we have a high-tech electronic lock system, secure private lockers (bring your own padlock), state-of-the-art fire alarm and our reception is open 24 hours (no curfew).

We have a lounge with free WiFi and cable TV and other entertainment equipment, an inner courtyard with lots of greenery in typical Viennese style, two Internet terminals and we offer free luggage storage on arrival/departure day. Monday to Friday our kitchen prepares a 3-course dinner, offering a selection of good home cooking and vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices.

Please check the mattresses for bed bugs. I had a beenie left on a mattress and its been giving me itches since then. That's the only reason for a fair grade. The room/bath was really clean otherwise.

Hostel response:
Dear Silpi!
Thank you for you comment. Of course we checked the matress in the room you slept and we have to inform you, that we did not found any bedbugs. Anyways we changed the matress, the quilt and the pillow, just to make sure that there will be no problems. It is one week ago you slept in our hostel, so if there were any bugs on the matress we should have recieved further complaints, because bugs reproduce very fast. We are glad, that you liked our hostel and that you realised, that we take care about the cleaness of the rooms and the facilities. Hope to see you again in Vienna. Best regards the hostelteam

Putting some soap in the showers would be useful. Also, the breakfast could be improved. Otherwise excellent hostel, made all the efforts to put me in a free dorm when I was alone for one night.

Being in a separate building that was full of drunks was concerting. Was reported to front desk but didn't see anyone come by. That is unacceptable to me. There should be security and someone on site. The one supper I had was very poor quality. There was no kitchen as in other hostels and one could not even make a cup of tea easily. No spoons, no tea/sugar etc etc. I would not recommend this hostel.

Hostel response:
Dear Melanie! Thank you for your comment. We are sorry, that you were not satisfied with our hostel. We want to inform you, that the receptionist controlls both buildings during the night. This is part of his job and we can document this. We are also not satisfied with drunken guest, but sometimes our guest do ignore the houserules, but if they do not make big troubles, we won´t kick them out. Because of the selfkitchen we do not understand why you complain about this. In none of the information about our hostel (homepage, bookingcenters, etc..) you can find, that we offer a selfkitchen. So it is clear, that we do not have a self kitchen. In austria the law about food and beverages is very strikt. This is the reason, why most of the austrian hostels do not have a self kitchen. The last point about the tea. We offer a hot drinks machine, where you can buy a tea for €1,00. Additional we offer a waterboiler for our guest for free. If you need something like sugar or a spoon, the receptionist will give it to you for sure, but please understand, that you have to buy teabags, for example at the supermarket. (PS. at breakfasttime there are teabags at the buffet ;-)) best regards the hostelteam
