The Y.H. is in the beautiful town of Verbania, in an elegant ninteenth -century Villa surrounded by 3000 sqm park, very close to Lake Maggiore, the city center and the tourist annd commercial center of Verbania.
Here you can spend your holiday choosing betweenthe many activities the city and the Y.H. offer: excursions to Monte Rosa and Valgrande National Park, guided tours to National Parks Devero and Veglia, boat trips to the Borromean Islands or the nearby town of Stresa. You can visit Switzerland and go skiing in the nearby Ski resorts.

| Need to put up some signs eg:on outside door to say hostel closed 12-3 for checking in. I rang the bell at 2 and got a very frosty reception. Wasn't given wifi password, shown breakfast room or that there were lockers.Need signs to say toilets and showers are unisex and times for breakfast. Staff need to be upskilled on local attractions, buses and trains. Need more street signs as well.reception was shut most of the time so had to ask another hostelier for wifi password. Free breakfast was good | ||
