Vemdalen has a long and genuine tradition in mountain tourism. Welcoming mountains surround the village and in summer there is challenging trails for biking, hiking and horseback riding.
The hostel is centrally located in the village of Vemdalen and has a long history. Already in 1843 came the first guests here. The business was inherited in the same family until the late 1960s.
In Vemdalen you can fish in some of Sweden's best fishing, playing golf in the mountains and canoeing. Fallmorans details is another destination that offers a lovely picnic area down by the case.
