Vara is situated on the vast plain in the middle of Småland. On this historic land is both magnificent castles and crofts poor environments. The district's pride, among others, is the magnificent Bjertorp carrying a fascinating story.
The hostel is in winter a school and is beautifully situated in a park with less than five minutes walk to Varas living center. Here you can experience small town living and find several good restaurants. The Software is also the musical magnet Vara Concert Hall. Bjertorp has a golf course and is on just over a mile away from Be. From Software is also close to Skara Summerland and recording sites for the Arn films.
