Valfabbrica is an Umbrian town, situated in the Valley of River Chiasco, on the Franciscan Peace-Pathway of Assisi Gubbio, bordering on Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Nocera Umbra and Gualdo Tadino. Notable are the remains of medieval fortifications, its origins are linked to the Benedectine Monastery of S. Maria in " Vado Fabricae" which is amongst the most ancient and important monasteries of Umbria.
This area full of soft slopes, interesting hiking tracks, gastronomic specialities, various sport facilities and opportunities for environmental education experiences, make this centre very cozy and attractive.
