Stay in the hostel Lenzerheide-Valbella, and enjoy the views over Lake Heid and the mountainous landscapes of this popular resort. With ample ski slopes in winter and hiking and mountain biking in summer, this modern hostel is in a great location right next to the ski lift Valbella.
The accommodation consists of 2, 4 and 6-bed rooms, and there are many facilities including a cozy lounge, games room (with table tennis and table football), ski and boot room, Internet access, and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included in the price, and in winter also dinner.
The hostel Valbella-Lenzerheide is only 30 minutes by bus from Chur, and 20 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop. In addition to skiing, hiking and biking, you can swim or go boating on Lake Heid. It also has many hiking trails, and a sun terrace to relax and enjoy the view.
If you want to enjoy some fast-paced fun, visit the alpine slide Pradaschier, Europe's longest toboggan run - from Pradaschier in Graubünden down to Churwalden, which is a 3km long ride, and even better than some roller coasters!
Remark: School classes can spend its winter camp at Valbella Youth Hostel in the weeks (Monday to Friday) from 13-17 Jan 14, 20-24 Jan 14, 2-7 Feb 14, 24-28 Feb 14, 10-14 Mar 14 and 17-21 Mar 14.
