| It was very basic but it was also inexpensive and near to the train station. The showers were only available from 830am-6pm which made it a little hard to get ready for the tour at 10am but the staff was helpful in getting them going. | ||

| We got a doubleroom as we had prebooked. It was small and had a wierd smell. There was no heat whatsoever and we even had to ask the staff to turn on the water (which was icy cold). Only one little toilet without a lock or light. If you wanted to take a shower, it had to be between 8.30 and 6pm, and you had to get the key from the staff...could not be bothered with that. Only one shower allowed pr. night - for 5 min or you have to pay extra 10 bol. By far one of the worst placed we have stayed in Bolivia and also one of the most expensive.

| This was honestly the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely unfriendly, bordering on unpleasant. The room was shabby at best - the beds were uncomfortable and the lock on the window was broken, meaning the room (on the ground floor) could be accessed easily from the outside. When I reported it to the staff they claimed there was no problem, and they werem´t able to fix it. Unfortunately all the hotels in Uyuni were booked up so we were not able to stay elsewhere otherwise I most definitely would have. We had to carry all our valuables on us and hope that our belongings inside the room were safe. The staff claimed the front door of the hostel would be locked and that they would keep an eye on everyone that came though it, however when I returned to the hostel that night the font door was wide open and the one man on reception was fast asleep in the chair.
