The youth hostel is in a picturesque location in the area of Bellin, surrounded by forest, close to the beach in the Szczecin Lagoon, ideal for excursions. Ueckermünde with its historic centre, numerous small shops and restaurants is very close. In the Pomeranian Castle and the open-air museum Ukranenland you’ll learn about early history. From the port you can take a boat trip to Usedom, Poland or just onto the open sea. The varied landscape with its flat coastline, heath land and hills is ideal for cycling.

Directions

Bus:	A20 to Pasewalk Süd, then continue to Ueckermünde, from there direction Altwarp to Bellin. In Bellin folllow main street. 200m behind the Spritzenhäuschen (fire brigade) you’ll find the hostel.
Parking:	Free parking for cars and coaches.
Rail:	From Ueckermünde railway station take bus Altwarp-Luckow to Dorfmitte stop (village centre), from there 250m walk to the hostel. Train timetables at Deutsche Bahn - telephone (01805) 19449 or website www.bahn.de. Train information for cyclists provided by ADFC on www.adfc.de/bahn.
