Tomaszów Mazowiecki is in the centre of Poland.It is situated on the banks of three rivers - Pilica, Wolbórka nad Czarna, near Zalew Sulejowski reservoir.The national highway NO. 8 (Warsaw - Katowice) runs near Tomaszów Maz.
There are many atractions for people interested in sport. There is canoe rental near the hostel, basic skate park, sport centre, where you can play basketball, volleyball or sunbathe near the river. You can visit Spała village, famous for the Central Soprts Centre COS Spała and Spała Landscape Park, a perfect area for hiking and cycling. If you are interested in sailing or windsurfing, you can visit Zalew Sulejowski reservoir.
For people interested in history there are also many atractions, like Konewka bunker, the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum of Pilica River and museum in the Palace of Ostrowscy (the settlers of Tomaszów Maz.)
Tomaszów is also famous for "Blue Springs" the nature reserve.
