A charming hostel overlooking the famous harbour on the beautiful island of Mull. The Hostel is newly renovated with small rooms & sea views, with a good kitchen & comfy sitting room. Good cafes & restaurants locally. The beautiful island of Mull offers many things to enjoy, including coastal and woodland walking-excellent round Tobermory. Also visit the island of Iona, spiritual and historic heart of Scotland, or take a trip to Staffa to see this geologically amazing island, which inspired Mendelssohn to write 'Fingal's Cave' overture. Private and family rooms available.

| Reception is closed for a large portion of the day, making it inconvenient to both check in and purchase things such as wi-fi. Wi-fi is far too expensive at 3 pounds for just an hour's usage. No lockers in rooms. No other SYHA hostel I've stayed at kicks people out for 4 hours in the middle of the day either | ||

| Male shower on right hand side was useless. It is electric and either produced scalding water or cold water as the electricity supply kept cutting out probably due to variable water flow. Decor in the shower was very poor. Otherwise a reasonable first ever night in a hostel. | ||

| Karoline, the manager, was great, friendly & helpful. Parking is on the street, so be aware that you may have a walk to tote your bags. | ||
