The hostel is housed in the old Railway Hotel in the middle of the village Tingstäde. Find yourself in a beautiful, child-friendly surroundings with plenty of room for play and rest in the large and leafy garden.
Tingstäde is only a few mil north of Visby is an old and rustic little village. Popular Lake Tingstäde swamp is located just a few hundred yards away and has both a popular bathing area as a rich fishing waters.
Tingstäde is perhaps best known as the birthplace of the canal builder and scientist Christopher Polhem, who was born in the 1600s. His childhood home Polhem museum today used as a community center with various activities during the year and is a popular destination
