Between the jagged canyons of the "Roßtrappe" and the famous "Hexentanzplatz" (Witches’ Dance Floor) you’ll find the Thale Hostel. Eerie stone formations such as the "Teufelsmauer" (Devil’s Wall) make this a uniquely mysterious landscape.
Our 2- to 6- bed rooms, in addition to our numerous common rooms, offer ideal accommodation for nearly everyone. You can comfortably reach the "devilish sights" of the “Hexentanxplatz“ by foot or by cable car.

| Location: | On the northern edge of the Harz Forest, directly in a Nature Preserve, the town of Thale is widely known as a child- and family-friendly community. Thale offers its visitors an ideal destination for hikes through the Bode Valley or for exciting excursions to destinations like the fabled "Hexentanzplatz" (Witches’ Dance Floor), which you can access by foot, cable car, or chairlift.
