Tønder is the capital of the marshland and the oldest merchant town in Denmark, located close to the Danish-German border. The town is fascinating from a historical and idyllic point of view, with beautifully renovated old houses, many interesting shops and good restaurants. With Tønder as a base for visiting the south-western corner of Denmark, a fascinating experience is assured in terms of scenery, culture, history, sports, shopping and recreation. In terms of nature, one item worth mentioning is the unique Wadden Sea and the dykes. Very clean and comfortable place near to Tonder cenrtal part and Town Hall! I'd like to recommend it for everyone. Only two drawbacks are: cleaning is only by yourself OR by extra charges; bed sheets are not included in price, so you need to bring it along OR pay extra charges (about €8-9 per person).
