Nobel Prize winner Selma Lagerlof, Sunne sat on the world map. Many of the places in her novels and especially her home Marbacka is currently popular locations. The district also offers a varied and adventurous nature.
The hostel is situated in Sunne Sunne close to nature at the Homestead Museum, located high up overlooking the Sunne and Lake Fryken. Homestead dates back to the 1700s and in the field are also other historic buildings as a school museum and one of the oldest courthouses.
The beautiful nature in Fryksdalen is perfect for example rent a canoe, hiking in nature reserves or biking around the lakes. Sunne has a nice alpine plant for both cross-country and downhill skiing. Summertime attracts golf courses and Sunne Waterpark for wet adventures.
