Customer Reviews Stuttgart

| Ecellent value for money - only down side the over 27 surcharge in Germany. We find this difficult to understand and discriminatory. | ||

| Very close to the Stuttgart main station, with a great view. One of the best hostels in Germany. | ||

| The room stank, the location was inconvenient, the rooms were expensive and then they charge for wifi and the staff seemed disinterested in even acknowledging you. | ||

| Staff are not friendly to foreigners and even spoke German to me which made me feel very confused. We are family with 3 people but they arranged 2 seperated rooms for us, even not in the same building!!!!! And they refused to change, said we are fully booked. How inconvenient for us!!! There are 4 buildings of this hostel with very complicated structure just like a puzzle. Good luck to find your own way there!! | ||

| I would rate "Friendliness of Staff" higher (especially for the guy behind the bar, dark hair, darker complexion) if the kitchen staff were at all friendly.
I tried to eat dinner there one night, and started to go through the buffet line. Typically, one pays at the end of the buffet line (after you know what food you're getting). There were no signs to pay first, and no indication what the price even was. Some guy comes from behind the kitchen, yells at me, and won't let me continue until I go to the bar to pay.
Completely unnecessary. Customer service employees should have some concept of customer service.
Everyone else was great...
I would also put the U-Bahn directions on the English version of the facility's page. It wasn't really clear how to get there. | ||
