YHA Streatley makes a great place for a family weekend with plenty of fun-packed attractions nearby. There are so many kid-friendly attractions to squeeze into your stay, including Legoland, Beale Adventure Park and Wyld Court Rainforest Centre. At the end of each day adults will be glad to sit back and enjoy top notch homemade food in the comfy surroundings of this charming Victorian mansion. Set in the heart of the Thames Valley, Streatley is one of the oldest crossing points on River Thames, which still bustles with rowers, pleasure boats and fly-fishers.
Streatley is near the Chiltern Hills and the Berkshire Downs, the hostel offers easy access to the Ridgeway hiking trail and the 18th-century mansion of Basildon Park. Accommodation is in 2-6+ bedded rooms and facilities include TV lounge, self-catering kitchen, conference facilities and evening meals.

| I really liked the stay in Streatley and in Whitesands Bay the day before. In my evaluation about Whitesands Bay I said something about it needing hooks, but I was getting the British and Welsh hostels mixed up with the ones in Ireland and Scotland where I stayed before on this trip where sometimes hoks were missing or it wasn't that clean. But everything was fine in Whitesands Bay and Streatley! | ||
