The houses are located close to the Oude Haven, a historic area of the city bristling with bars, restaurants and cafés. The hostel are decorated simply and stylishly according to a design created by the Edward van Vliet/SEVV design agency. Every room has its own washing facilities and the hostel is fitted with state-of-the-art facilities. Come enjoy the cosy atmosphere and the Stayokay employees’ warm hospitality!

Customer Reviews Stayokay Rotterdam

| Stayed: Dec 2011 Staff: excellent - was friendly and provided necessary assistance. Comfort & cleanliness: excellent - 6 people in a single room (2 single beds, 2 double beds), 2 power sockets per bed, the 'bridge' building itself in an architectural masterpiece, rooms are designed to provide at least sufficient lighting in every room. You are not allowed to bring food in (increases your cost of staying), no curfew. My gf and I were kind of unlucky since there was a guy who was snoring like the last time. 'Sorry man', another guy was saying every time before leg kicking the snoring one. Security: excellent - access controlled by door cards, cams, enough space and few people in a room to feel safe. Location: excellent - a central location with easy access to the city center, skyscrapers. Remember sitting in a chair by the pond and singing under a heavy rain. Overall: Excellent, totally recommend. | ||

| This hostel is situated in the Cube Houses which is easy to locate. However, where is the hostel in the Cube Houses? Some signposts may help visitors to find the door of the hostel. | ||

| The hostel was ok.
Very easy to find. Just to the left of Rotterdam Blaak in the cube buildings.
The room was quite small. I shared with 3 other girls in a 6 bed room and we couldn't all be standing at the same time.
The bunk beds were ridiculous. I am 5ft tall and when sitting would hit my head on the roof.
Rotterdam was a bit boring in general. I went to the zoo. Skip it.
Check out Den Haag instead. | ||

| Whilst this hostel is housed in wacky 'Cubes' this does not makeup for the fact that it is miles away from the centre of the city. Furthermore I found Rotterdam to be the DULLEST place to visit. Full of big business, but very little for the tourist to see. | ||
