Stari Grad (Antic name Faros) is a historic town on one of the most beautiful Adriatic islands - Hvar. Stari Grad is a city of cultural monuments. The most famous are: the church of St. John, the church of St. Jerome, the church of St. Nicolas, remains of the church of St. Lucia, the church of St. Roch, the church of St. Peter and the Dominican Monastery (in this monastery there is museum with the oldest stone-inscriptions on Croatian ground, many archaeological findings from Pharos as well as other precious things), the parish church of St. Stephen andTvrdalj (fortified castle of a poet Petar Hektorovic). Stari Grad is also a modern tourist center with great gastronomic offer and many sports and recreation facilities. The sea surrounding Stari Grad is well known for its reach sea flora and fauna. There are many wonderful beaches in the town and the surroundings.

Hostel Sunce is located in the center of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, in the city area known as Siberia.
