The hostel consists of old fishermen´s cabins. Stamsund offers excellent fishing conditions. The hostel can arrange fishing by boat. The midnight sun can be seen from 28.5. - 17.7., and the northern lights are visible from end of august till the end of april. You can take a mountain walk to the surrounding heights to experiences Lofoten and its magic nature. For reservation please call or fax the hostel!
Stamsund Hostel consists of two old fisherman cabins, located on the pier in Stamsund, Lofoten. Roar is the eccentric host of the hostel, who only accepts reservations and questions by phone. Stamsund hostel offers exceptionally beautiful scenery and the midnight sun from late May to mid July. Northern Lights can be seen from late August to late April. It's nice walking in the area with marked trails in the mountains. Fishing trips by boat and guide can be ordered at the hostel. Enjoy the very good fishing in Stamsund!

| Bus: | The Lofoten Express is a coach that takes you between Å and Narvik. There are also coaches driving between Leknes and Stamsund. The bus stops about 150 meters from Stamsund Hostel. Please let the driver know where you're going and he/she will make sure that you will get off at the right stop. |
