Welcome to Location Hostel, named for it's central location in the heart of St Petersburg's city center. This hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in St Petersburg and one of a number of hostels in Russia.
LOCATION HOSTEL is the first design-hostel in Russia, the winnwer of the design contest according to Saint Petersburg's most popular glossy magazine "SOBAKA.RU". Just two minutes walk from the Dvortsovaya Square and Hermitage, the very heart of St Petersburg, you’ll find recently opened Location Hostel, cozy 5-roomed hostel with authorized stylish design and friendly atmosphere. Location Hostel suits not just to stay for a couple nights but also you could make new acquaintances and get the full picture of the most fashionable events held in the city. Take advantage of : --FREE WiFi and unlimited Internet on our guest computer; --Fully equipped kitchen with microwave and coffee-machine; -- Free tea and coffee; --FREE automatical washing machine and iron with ironing-board, a hairdryer is also available; -- FREE bed linen and towels -- FREE personal security locker; -- No curfew; -- FREE parking;
You will definitely enjoy the shower with hydromassage and FM-set inside the unit. In the common room you could watch DVD on plasma-screen or spend time in the company of new friends. You may chat to our staff for local advice on major attractions (the Hermitage, Peter-and-Paul’s Cathedral, Isaac’s Cathedral and etc) as well as the suggestions for some of Petersburg quirkier corners. Location Hostel happily welcomes all backpackers to discover Saint-Petersburg while enjoying comfort and inviting atmosphere of our hostel.

| I checked in in the morning and at that moment didn't get the HI-discount (the recepcionist said I should ask later) and later the other recepcionist said it is too late to have the discount. That was not right. In summer, it is very hot inside the hostel. Other things are great. | ||

| It's a great location for 1st-time visit to Saint-Petersburg, cuz u're really in the heart of the city. Youth-oriented design of the rooms, comfortable and friendly atmosphere are overwhelming. This is so much better than any rooms in private apts or home-hotels I've tried before. I also enjoyed the int'l guests of hostel, so friendly and easy-going. However, I'm remaining a fan of another hostel from this family - Ligovsky 74, which is bigger, cleaner, a lot closer to metrostation (important if you have heavy bags), situated in a loft-designed building with great exposition spaces and nice eat-out spots. However, I've nothing bad to say about Location Hostel in Admiralteyskiy avenue. Thank you very much guys! | ||

| In general, hostel was good, but there are some few comments that I consider important:
I would like to say confort it is good, but I cannot. And I think is not a mistake from the hostel, but some guy was all the night in a shared bedroom puting some music in his laptop at 3:30 am in the night, while 9 more people were sleeping there. This was totally unpolite.
Also we made a 3 beds reservation inside 6 bed room, however when we arrive they move us to a 10 bed room, saying that it is full. But of course, we paid for the 6 bed room place. So this does not look correct.
But in general hostel was ok with price and location, so we prefer do not complain about that. But are things that they should improve I think. | ||
