It occupies the former San José Hospital, made of black stone from the 18th century, next to the road in Soto en Cameros, a village that in the old days was the headquarters of the main canon of the Cathedral and that is located in a hollow in the side of Cucurucha Mountain. This village, a textile and commercial center, is now a stockbreeding village. Archeological, speleology, palaeontology and fossil center, Dinosaur Footprints Route, hiking. Cañón Río Leza Pass.
