Lapland's magnificent mountain scenery and Sweden's genuine wilderness. The area around Sorsele is a typical reindeer community and is characterized by an obvious Sami culture. Noticeable in the many place names that are related to the Sami language.
The hostel is surrounded by mountains Nalovardo in this beautiful area and offers accommodation in cottages with four or six beds. The hostel belonging to a complete mountain resort midway between Lais and the rushing Vindel River, fifteen miles north of Sorsele.
It is no coincidence that Sorsele has been a fishing center. Here at the frontier of mountains is in fact plenty of lakes and streams where the fish thrive. The region also offers excellent opportunities for skiing - both cross country and downhill skiing.
