| Don't expect too much from the staff, unless (or even if) you speak fluent Korean. At this price, notice that the only thing provided is the room. Laudry and cooking are possible if you buy your own washing liquid and gas bottle.
Location is not in Sokcho city itself, take bus line 7 or 7-1 to C-Jigu. | ||

| The staff didn't seem to even know I was coming, acted very confused and never asked for ID or a hostel card. There was not a good environment in the hostel, there wasn't a common area to hang out and mostly it was Korean families going to the beach instead of other backpackers. | ||

| Potentially a great place but the staff did not speak English. They were not unkind but seemed to be very uncomfortable with foreigners. The place was practically empty. | ||

| The man at the front desk did not want to honor the price quoted by HiHostels.com, even when I showed him the confirmation e-mail. He said initially said "no" and only after I showed that I had already paid a deposit and asked if he was SERIOUS did he finally agree to the price, but he was not happy about it. The room was not very clean. Otherwise, it was as I had expected. | ||

| I enjoyed this hostel and thought it was in a great location! Very easy to get to both Seoraksan and Sokcho. About a 15 min bus ride to both. If you book this hostel online make sure to bring a copy of the confirmation with you. The man who runs the hostel said he gets the email confirmations, but since they are in English he does not read them, just an fyi...that way you pay the amount said online and not more. But really I would reccomend this hostel! Was great! | ||
