The youth hostel Šmartno ob Paki lays at the borders of two valleys-Savinjska and Šaleška dolina. If you want to visit us leave the motorway Ljubljana-Maribor at the exit Šentrupert, drive for about 15 km in direction of valley Logarska dolina and then turn towards Šmartno ob Paki in village Letuš. Our youth hostel has a room with 42 beds and a suite with eight beds. A charge for night's lodging is nine Euros a night. The hostel is an ideal place for study-groups, organization of workshops, seminars. In summertime, you can enjoy walks in nature( Martinova pot, hill Gora Oljka) or take a trip with bike to one or more towns in the near and far surrounding; for exemple to valley Zgornja Savinjska dolina with towns Mozirje, Nazarje, Gornji Grad, Radmirje and valley Logarska dolina, to cities Velenje or Celje or towns Šoštanj, Dobrna, Žalec. If it is hot you can cool in health spa Topolšica that lays 12 km away. There is also a sports ground behind the hostel where you can play soccer, basketball or volleyball. For fans of paragliding there are jumping-off points at the hills Gora Oljka and Dobrovlje only about 5 km away. In wintertime, you can enjoy in winter sports at the ski slope Golte nad Mozirjem( 12 km away).
