| An excellent place for a backpacker to stay. Only drawback - they have a cleaning oroblem at the moment well below HI standards. Price is good and usually includes breakfast. | ||

| + Great location.
+ Good breakfast
- Very dirty bathroom and you have to be lucky to have hot water.
- No 24h reception (after 2 p.m. there is no one)
- System of magnetic cards is good, but there is no control. So the front door / doors to the rooms stayed open all night because of lazy guests
- Stayed 4 nights, no cleaning of bathroom/bedroom
- Old infrastructure/furniture (very noisy bed, a lot of broken sockets, elevator doing strange)
It could be a good hostel, but it needs some love from his owners.

| Hibernia Hostel was the worst hostel I ever visited.
- the Kittchen was not working and the staff could not fix it, even we paid for it
- the toilettes where too small, you could not lock 2 of 4 and 1 had no water
- the shower was moldy, as most of the rest of the house
- one the last day we had no electricity, so the refrigerator was not working too
- our room mates (room for 8 persons) came home at 5am and made so much noise that we could not sleep for 1 hour
- the breakfast was very poor, the toaster was not working and the food was unacceptable
- the fans were working (except on the last day) but a bit loud
I guarantee that this review is 100% correct and true. I hope you will improve the hostel, so following guests can enjoy their stay. | ||

| For me they shouldnt be called a hostel, just a residence. The reception just open until 2 pm, and we asked for more nights, she forgot to free your kees. So we arrived, and stayed for 2 hours trying to call a Emergency number that no one answer, and we had to knock in each door until someone knew a guy that lived there and opened for us. No fun at all, and for one night we stayed in a hotel in front of the beach, really good, that was just 25 euros per person, much better. With kitchen. | ||

| The kitchen is not clean enough. The toilets are mounted in the wrong direction. | ||

| I booked a room in a 3 bed dorm and luckily I was give a studio flat all for myself, with en-suite, my own kitchen. The staff is very friendly and helpful particularly Lara and Matthew. Lara has given me a lot of valuable tips and explained me how to reach most locations in Malta, she is a very kind lady. Breakfast at Hibernia House is great! | ||

| The hostel is well-located, near the city centre. The staff were very helpful and firendly. The food was great. Didn't expect such variety of food served for breakfast. I'm sure I'd stay in this hostel again, when in Malta. | ||

| Excellent place to stay - many international travellers stay there to learn English at the local NSTS school. Staff were fantastic and the place was impeccably clean, plus the included breakfast each morning was a nice bonus! | ||

| Hibernia House is very well located, only five minutes from bus stops and close to many beautiful beaches, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The breakfast was excellent, they also offered fruit. The staff is great, Lara has been very friendly and helpful giving me many valuable tips on where to go in Malta and the best way to reach those places. Thanks a lot Lara! | ||

| Very good location. It's very near from the bus station to Valletta, gozo ferry and some other places.Breakfast is rich and delicious. The girl at the reception table helped us a lot. There's also a buffet nearby which is really helpful if you arrive on Sunday.Problems are,the fridge is noisy and the microwave oven doesn't work sometimes. | ||
