Slagelse is a "green" commercial town, rich in culture and history. The Viking area, Trelleborg, the gardens of Birkegaarden museum, forests, beaches, music and theatre are just a few of the attractions. A new tennis centre, large, newly renovated swimming pool and bowling centre/gyms, all close to the hostel, which is located in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. The hostel has been built in a former mansion - the extension was added later. Pleasant, cosy atmosphere and environment. Please check the hostel for low-season prices.
