Situated in the heart of the citadel, our hostel has 53 places in 18 modern rooms. We offer ideal conditions for groups of pupils, young people and students in those 2 rooms with 1 bed, 8 rooms with 2 beds, 3 rooms with 3 beds, 1 room with 4 beds, 3 rooms with 5 beds, 1 room with 7 beds, and 2 apartments for individual tourists and families. Our guests can use the seminars room and the entertainment room free of charge. Besides, our cuisine includes regional, national and international specialities. Our Culture Pub offers you both a reach assortment of drinks and rapid internet access, while in the Music Pub you are invited on each Friday to live concerts. The price is: 7-10 euros per person out-of-season, 10-15 euros per person in full season. We make price cuts for groups on request, while Youth Hostel members get a 10% reduction.

The hostel is owned by the Interethnische Jugendbildungszentrum e. V. (Ibz – Inter-ethnic Youth Education Centre), founded in 2000. The Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen e.V. (Institute for International Relations), Stuttgart, raised German government funds that were granted as part of the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe in order to restore the medieval buildings and turn them into a youth hostel. Revenue from the hostel and catering business is reinvested in the work of the Ibz. The Ibz promotes communication between different ethnic groups on a national and international level. Its most important project is the organization of the “ProEtnica Festival – Days of Ethnic Communities in Romania”, taking place each year since 2001 in the second half of August.

Parking:	It's best to park outside the medieval citadel, all central parking lots at around 5 minutes from the hostel.
Location:	The youth hostel is within Sighisoara citadel, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Rail:	Th easiest way to get from the train station to the hostel is by taxi (price approx. €1.50).
Airport:	Closest international airports are Targu Mures (50km), Sibiu (100km) and Cluj-Napoca (150km).
