| Airport: | From: PuDong International Airport By Taxi: approximately 40~60 mins. Price is around 130RMB. By Airport Bus: Take Airport Bus No.3. Get off at Da Pu Qiao bus stop. By Maglev: Take maglev to Long Yang Road( RMB40 with air-ticket). Either take taxi to the hostel, 30 RMB. Or take Metro Line 2 to ShiJi Avenue and transfer to Line 4 to LuBan Road. HongQiao Airport By Taxi: 20~30 minutes. Around RMB50. By Bus: Bus 938. Get off at South ZhongShan No.1 Road. Cross the street at the first pedestrian cross and go straight though an iron gate toward residential area. Walk though and turn left at the T junction. Our hostel is at your left hand side, just 5 minutes of walk. |

| It's a great hostel for friedliness and helpfulness. The location is great being almost across the road from a Metro station. I would use it anytime I was in Shanghai. | ||

| There should be railway booking service because it is very difficult if you don't know Chinese. Also, some of the directions from the staff were inaccurate. But overall, the hostel itself was fairly good. | ||

| A lady at the reception desk was very friendly and kind to me,but she seemed to have some rooms to improve her English skills(a little bit though).
I don't recommend 8 bed mixed dorm room as it faces the street and very noisy even after midnight with taxis or whatever.In addition,outside,at around 5 o'clock in the morning,local vendors start shouting something in Mandarin.Dorm rooms with less capacity are relatively silent as they have no window.
In the near future,after refurbishment works ongoing right now,this hostel will be nicer.
I think there should be one more washing machine and dryer.And if possible one TV set in every rooms.Same kind of accomodation in Singapore had TV even in dorm rooms. | ||

| Cockroaches are everywhere (even on your bed!!) in this hostel. The room (mine was a 4 female room) is extremely small, barely have enough room for ONE suite case on the spare floor. No wifi in the room, only in the bar and at the entrance. There're about 30 high steps right at the entrance, no elevators. So, you have to carry your suite case in and out of the hostel climbing up and down high stairs -- such a pain. | ||

| this is an uncommon hostel. hot only you can meet travelers from all around the world, but also chineese who live there. it's an amazing opportunity to meet friendly, english speaking locals, who are often happy to show hidden spots of the city to foreiners. | ||
