The hostel in Seyðisfjörður is housed in two different friendly wooden buildings. One of the houses is just outside the village and facing the harbour, located at Ránargata 9.
The other house is a 100 year old Norwegian built hospital in the centre of town at Suðurgata 8. This is where you find the reception in the summer months from May 1st - October 15th.
During low season you are welcomed at Ránargata 9 (October 15th to April 30th).
In both buildings we offer the same facilities for our guests: excellent common facility, kitchens, dining and sitting areas washing machine and Internet connection. In Suðurgata we have 4 double rooms, 3 x4 bedded rooms and 3,x6 bedded rooms. At Ránargata there are 4 x double rooms, 2 x twins and 1 x 4 bedded room.
Seyðisfjörður is the arrival and departure point for MS Norröna.
Nearest hostels: Berunes 110 km, Húsey 83 km, Reyðarfjörður 59 km, Borgarfjörður Eystri 93 km.
