We are located 6 km from Finnsnes, north on the island of Senja. (Which is Norway’s second largest island). Senja can offer beautiful scenery, with fjords and mountains. There are lots of hiking routes. Nearest town center, Finnsnes, can offer several diffrent restaurants and shops. Welcome to a calm stay at Senja Hostel.

| No staff during two days so need to call them on arrival even if we noticed our arrival by email and no advice on what to do on Senja...
Bathrooms are quickly becoming swimming pools.
There was no internet access, the main room was not heated and it was freezing...letting almost no common spaces to eat etc.

| Simple, nice, clean room with own bathroom and toilet. It is true that the main door is not locked, however I have always felt secure. Busses to/from Silsand/Finnsnes run quite often during the working days but at weekends there are only two connections. Al in all this hostel was a perfect stay and you won't find nothing better and cheaper in the vicinity. | ||

| È stato difficile da trovare xche arrivati da Finness non ci sono cartelli che indicano dove sia e la località non è proprio Silsand. Siamo arrivati prima delle 18 e la reception era chiusa ed abbiamo dovuto telefonare.
Per il resto per una notte è stato un buon alloggio! | ||

| After our arrival we decided not to stay in this hostel. There was no staff present; he would only arrive the other morning. Security was very poor with no one around. All in all it was very poor. | ||

| It was a nice hostel with friendly staff and visitors with great responsibility. Two little minor points: you could not clean/ dry the douche after taking a shower; in the kitchen the cooking facilities were a littel bit poor for so many people. For the rest it was nice to stay at this hostel. | ||
