In the heart of the southern mountains of Lappland lies the village Saxnäs, one of Sweden’s most picturesque mountain villages.
It’s the perfect location for visitors who wish to go fishing, hunting, hiking or just experience the wonderful mountain atmosphere of Lappland.
At STF Hostel Saxnäs/Kultsjögården, a passion for the mountain and its possibilities is felt by both staff and guests, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The hostel offers a variety of simple accommodation. Guests have access to a fully equipped shared kitchen and lounge with TV, and are welcome to enjoy the restaurant and bar, where locals and guests meet to dine or simply enjoy a cup of coffee.
There are many exciting activities on offer at the hostel. Survival courses, guided mountain hikes, snow scooter and dog sled safaris and sublime winter fishing are just a few of the possibilities for the curious and adventurous. There are also excellent bicycle trails around Saxnäs.
