| Location: | Location and Environment The municipality is located in the southwest of the province of Segovia, in the north slope of Sierra de Guadarrama, and it is the way into Castilla y León coming from Madrid, through Alto de León (National VI Road) and the tunnels of Guadarrama (La Coruña A6 Motorway). The municipality is the largest in the province, with 21,610 hectares. The main rivers flowing through the municipality are: Moros River, Gudillos River and Voltoya River. The municipality is located in a natural amphitheatre, surrounded by mountains.
