Customer Reviews San José - Hostel Casa Yoses

| I loved it there. It is big and spacious. The dorms are big with an adjoining bathroom and lockers for your valuables. There is a restaurant right on the premise. There is free wifi and several computers you can use. It has a pool table and 2 TVs. I could go on but you have to see it.A small breakfast of cereal, coffee, toast and jam and at the time papaya is included. The people on the reception desk are marvelous and go out of there way to help you.
v,s It is is far enough but close enough to the down town. | ||

| The hostel was great. The staff so helpful. The city itself left alot to be desired and no street signs made travel extremely difficult. | ||

| I had a 6´x8´ single room which abuts the wall of the 24/7 security business next door. It was very noisy. Also there were some plumbing glitches. The clogged toilet was set right quickly , but at timrs it was hard to find a working shower. The staff is wonderful, very patient with my bad Spanish, plus they speak perfect English. | ||

| It was great the staff was great especially claudia and Kemal the only problem was that there were some German people that were very noisy the first and second night. Next time i would like like to see some type of quiet hours. asking the other guest not to be too loud after ten and before eight am. Otherwise It was one of the best hostels I have ever been in the staff was very friendly, nice and helpful. | ||

| We paid $40 for a private room. Our friends stayed at a hotel downtown with a pool and clean rooms for $50. When we arrived the room was ok - but many dirty condoms in the garbage in our private bath - gross. The sheets where also dirty. The windows did not shut and one was broken right out - lots of mosquito bites in the night! and poor security. The girls at the front desk where friendly and the food at the resteraunt was good but overpriced. Would not stay at this Hostel again. | ||
