Nice stay in hostel, for both youngs and grown-ups. Very friendly staff.

We enjoyed staying at this hostel but would recommend it more for long term stays in Salzburg. Although the public transport is close you still have a bit of a walk to get there.

This hostel is no way near within the walking distance to the Central Train Station and is so far away from the centre of the city. It has clean dorm rooms, beds already made with crisp sheets, plenty of fair breakfast, but no good restaurants near by... has a McDonald's near-by though :) Major downsides are hostel check in time is just in the evening, no free WiFi provided by the hostel, its paid WiFi service is expensive and does not have a good connection, and the problems of all is that direction to the hostel is very baaaad. The written direction as of October 2011 is useless. My room mate told me even the local taxi driver could not find it with his first try. The people living nearby knows about this, so just say "Excuse me...." and they will just point the direction to the hostel for you! In short, this is a good hostel but not convenient.

Reception is closed 1000 till 1700, which is poor really. The rooms where spacious and clean with each person having their own large locker. Quite out of town but right next to the bus stop.

This hostel was more value for money than the Hilton in Munchen, where we stayed after our visit in Salzburg.

This was a lovely hostel to stay in! The staff were very friendly and the rooms were of a high standard - more along the lines of a hotel than a hostel! The actual location was slightly hard to find in the dark when we arrived but once ou have found it, it is alot easier to find your way back again!

No sign to the hostel on the road, so bring printed map when you go first time.
