Peacefully located at the edge of the Salzach woods, 25 minutes walk from Salzburg's Old Town, the hostel provides easy access to the city's sights. Rooms have 1-4 beds, most with private bathrooms, and facilities include TV room, cafeteria, a big garden area, and a kitchen serving dinners, lunches and lunch packs.
We also have WLAN and internet access in our friendly cafeteria. TV lounge, table tennis, outdoor chess, volleyball, a large terrace with a barbecue, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

| The room was very nice. The doors to the room cannot be opened or closed without making a very loud echo, waking up everyone on the floor (including the bathroom doors.) A busload of young people came in at 2:00 AM and yelled up and down the hall the first night until 4:00. The 2nd night unsupervised young people kept us awake until 2:00 AM again. There is no place for that kind of behavior where people need to sleep, and we can't understand how hostel staff permits it. | ||

| It was in an a cul-du-sac which was complicated to drive to. It was also a bit far from the city centre but it was a great place to stay.

| I was very pleasantly surprised by the Eduard Heinrich Haus. Other than its location, which is a bit out of the way and surrounded by dormitories (a little bit off-putting at night, as the way leading to it is not super well lit), I felt safe, comfortable, and well-cared for during my stay. The female dorms were clean with good beds and well-kept bathrooms/living areas. The overall feel of the hostel was a bit like a college dorm, which was fine. The free breakfast was very tasty and fresh. The staff was very helpful about suggesting things to do or booking us tours. For 25 Euro a night (during New Years, when all other hostels were charging 50+) I was very impressed! | ||

| The room needs air so we opened the window. The insulationis so effective that no fresh air comes in.
