YHA Salisbury is a listed building just a short walk from the historic city of Salisbury and nine miles from Stonehenge. The hostel is a great base for exploring the beautiful Wiltshire countryside and its many prehistoric sites.

Explore Wiltshire from this 200-year old secluded villa set in private grounds. It’s minutes from Salisbury Cathedral and nine miles from Stonehenge. There’s the Roman villa at Rockbourne, the Iron Age hill-fort at Old Sarum and the Regimental Badges of Fovant carved into the chalk downs, to name a few. Evening meals are available in the licensed on-site restaurant. The hostel has 70 beds and facilities include self-catering kitchen, laundry, internet access, and TV lounge.

Good location close to center, friendly helpfull staff, nice house but unfortunately poorly decorated (e.g. paint from ceiling in breakfast room). Probably lack of money. What a pity for such a lovely building..

It only takes one staff member to affect the experience of staying somewhere and the staff member who was abrupt with my husband affected the rating for the whole hostel.

Over priced. Also everyone put in same room instead of "spreading"

This is another excellent UK hostel and we highly recommend it. We are a family of four, two children aged 7 and 11. Salisbury Hostel worked well for us!

Beds are too short for tall people (the tallest in our family is 6'6"!) In our room no.8 we had too much noise from the water pipes when shower(s) were running.
