Stockholm `af Chapman & Skeppsholmen' Hostel offers you a unique hostelling experience. Be inspired with one of HI's 'hostels with a difference' - a boat hostel! This old sailing ship hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Sweden, and one of five hostels in the Stockholm area. Here you will find one of the most famous landmarks in the city overlooking the Gamla Stan (the Old Town) and the Royal Palace. Please note the beds are allocated in two locations - the boat hostel and the hostel building adjacent to the boat. Total capacity for both hostels is 280 guests and facililities include laundry, kitchen and TV.

| I wish the laundry room would have been indoors so I wouldn't have had to go outside when it was snowing to do my laundry. The Wifi could also be expanded so it is available in the rooms and not just the common area. Apart from that the hostel was nice. | ||

| The hostel is really well located and the building is great! We do regret not having a lift though...
Their breakfast is rather complete and you can easily go through the day with only that meal :) | ||

| One disappointment is that there is no social space below decks where people can gather. As a result, they tend to congregate in the corridor outside the cabins, talking and laughing through the night. On two of our three nights, we had to ask them politely to disperse. On the other hand, we liked the breakfast and the breakfast room, the availability of free internet use in the reception area, and the wonderful view across the water. | ||

| good staff,they offer 24hours service.But the kitchen and the shower room is poor equiped. And only the tv room has internet access, and not automaticlly getting online,inconvient. | ||

| Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights on af Chapman. Exceeded my expectations. Wonderful breakfast! Wished I could stay longer. When I first arrived onboard though the lack of signs made finding where to go (eg sleeping quarters)took longer than necessary. | ||
