The hostel is a living idyll, set within a charming rural environment beside the Göta Canal. It is the perfect location for people who appreciate tranquillity and rural life.
Brådtom farm originates from the time the canal was built, at the beginning of the 19th century.
Slussvaktargården - The Lock Keeper’s Farm, is just a few meters from one of the locks in the Göta Canal, with individually decorated cabins located in the existing farm buildings, including the former workshop and laundry. The oldest building on the farm is the smithy, which is now a rental cabin.
Enjoy coffee or a light meal in the café as you watch the boats float past. Göta Canal’s bike trail passes through the gardens, and anglers can enjoy lake fishing in nearby Asplången.
