In the middle of Älvkarlebyfallen is Laxön and this has been a lot of fish story. Salmon fishing in Älvkarleby dates from the 1100s and each season captured the large numbers of salmon and sea trout. Each year, many to go fishing.
On this island is the hostel, where once corps was housed for many years. The officer charming villa has been carefully renovated and paned windows, beautiful wood floors and mirrored doors are intact. Also stables, guest houses and pharmacy has been given new life.
In addition to a classic accommodations, an excellent restaurant and a rich fishing offers island Upplands northernmost golf course in direct proximity to the hostel and the river's soothing noise. From here it's not far to Furuviksparken, a noble animal and amusement park for the whole family.
